Description
An original impressionist landscape oil on canvas by listed Austrian artist Josef Krotter (b. 1894), signed lower right. Depicts a bucolic landscape with a central curving body of water in front of three cottages with sloped roofs. To the right, a village nestles atop rolling fields beneath a hazy blue sky with scattered clouds. Set in the original carved giltwood frame. In the back is a gallery label from The W.T. Burger Company and a label about the artist.
