Copenhagen designers Iskos-Berlin start with an innovative wood fiber and plastic shell; then the interior is layered with foam and clad in the appointed material with crisp piping for a tautly smooth finish. The striking curved silhouette offers relaxed ease given the seat’s generous proportions and a lower stance. The solid-oak base also offers a range of complementary choices, in a select color or a natural finish in an eco-friendly water-based lacquer.
