CH468 Oculus Chair

Description

Much sought-after upon its debut in 1960 but actually not put into production until 2010, Oculus sprang from the mind of legendary Midcentury designer Hans J. Wegner. Named for the Latin word for “eye,” the moniker nods to CH468’s curved back with a similar shape centered in the upholstery. The roomy rounded proportions and generous armrests play against the lightweight stainless steel legs of the chair and its available companion footrest, both clad in leather or fabric.
